• 236 participants from all over Central and Eastern Europe
• 127 companies, 57 from outside Romania and 70 local organizations

FIAR 2002 - 5th Edition
• 168 persons came to Romania in 2002 to attend 5th Edition of FIAR
• of the 97 companies which were present, 41 were from the international markets
• 1 Main Conference dedicated to the Insurance Market in the context of European Integration

FIAR 2001 - 4th Edition
• 115 attendees came to FIAR 2001 while 70 organizations were represented, 23 being international-based
• 3 Conferences and Round Tables dedicated to the Insurance Markets in the 3rd Millenium, Private Pensions and Non-traditional Reinsurance
• the event was supported by the Romanian Government and by its Prime Minister at the moment, Mr. Adrian NASTASE

FIAR 2000 - 3rd Edition
• 102 leaders and specialists of the insurance and reinsurance markets came to FIAR 2000, the 3rd Edition of the Forum
• 3 Seminars on the following subjects: The Romanian Insurance Market, Reinsurance Pricing and International Markets

FIAR 1999 - 2nd Edition
• the Forum had 47 participants from 31 companies, of which 7 were from outside Romania
• for the first time, the Forum took place in Sinaia, what was to become FIAR's traditional venue

FIAR 1998 - 1st Edition
• 70 participants from 6 countries attended the 1 st Edition of FIAR
• the inaugural Forum took place in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania


The number of FIAR attendees grew year by year, from 70 persons in 1998 to more than 500 in 2006. Also, their structure became more and more diversified.

If the participants of the Forum's first Editions were mainly from Romania and the neighboring countries, representatives of the local insurance industry, as time went by more and more leaders and specialists from the European reinsurance, banking, leasing, consultancy, audit and IT&C industries registered for the event, thus insuring FIAR's position as the main European insurance related spring event.
